Prof. Nlerum S. Okogbule, the current Vice Chancellor, Rivers State University, is a renowned Professor of International Law. He has published two books, one monograph, twelve book Chapters and over 50 articles in refereed national and international journals. Engr. Tonye Erekosima is a graduate of the University of Port Harcourt, where he obtained a BEng in Chemical Engineering. He is an experienced Principal Process Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the oil & energy industry. Skilled in Petroleum, Gas, Pipelines, HAZOP Study, and Pumps. He has held several sensitive positions in Shell Petroleum Development Company Nigeria, where he grew within the ranks, from a Front End/Senior Appraisal Engineer, to a Principal Process Engineer, for the Assa North Project (Gas Supply Project), to a Principal Process Engineer, and then to Front End Development Lead, to Process Engineering support to the Oil & Gas Producing assets, and then to the Head, Asset Support. He is presently the Manager, Front End Engineering in Shell Petroleum Development Company Of Nigeria. He is married to a lovely wife with whom they have children. Engr. Daere Akobo is an accomplished entrepreneur and a business juggernaut. He is the Chairman of PANA Holdings and the CEO of PE Energy Ltd, Kari Care Ltd. Engr. TOPIC: Econophysics: An Enhancement Tool in Economic Processes.
Dr Jonathan Iworiso is a Senior Lecturer in Mathematics and Statistics for the School of Computing and Digital Media at the London Metropolitan University. He is a native of Opume in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa Sate. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics/Statistics from the University of Calabar, an MSc in Statistics & Data Analysis, and PhD in Statistics with specialisation in Machine Learning and Deep Learning Techniques, from the University of Essex. He has over 12 years of teaching and research experience in the higher education sector. Dr Jonathan Iworiso gained his academic knowledge and teaching experience beginning at the University of Calabar, then on to Federal University Otuoke, where he started off as a graduate assistant; he then proceeded to the University of Essex, where he earned his MSc and PhD degrees. He is passionate about the use of modern pedagogical approaches to facilitate teaching and learning support with sustainability in the higher education sector. He has recently developed a framework for decolonising the curriculum in science and computing with sustained evidence of effectiveness, focusing on students’ success. The framework could be extended to the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) via interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research collaboration with learned colleagues across the globe.
