TOPIC: The Challenges of Global Warming and its Dare Implications on the Nigerian Economy
Dr. Giadom Ferdinand Dumbari is the immediate past Project Coordinator (PC) for the Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project (HYPREP) under the Federal Ministry of Environment. Dr. Giadom holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree (PhD) in Environmental Geology and Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in Geology, both from the University of Port Harcourt, and Master of Philosophy Degree in Environmental Management from Rivers State University. Dr. Giadom has over 20 years experience in the conduct of impact assessment and baseline studies of Brownfields and Greenfields, with tested expertise in the development of conceptual sites models of various environments. He has experience in the evaluation of natural attenuation processes and effective remediation technologies for different scenarios involving contaminants such as petroleum hydrocarbons, heavy metals and other chemicals of concern. He is also an expert in Remediation Project Management and was a Consultant with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) on the implementation of the UNEP Report on the Environmental assessment of Ogoniland. He is a member of the Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS); a fellow of the Nigerian Association for Engineering Geology (NAEG) and a Chartered Environmental Geologist.

TOPIC: A Critical Appraisal of the Energy Crisis in Nigeria and the Way Forward.
Engr. Daere Akobo is an accomplished entrepreneur and a business juggernaut. He is the Chairman of PANA Holdings and the CEO of PE Energy Ltd, Kari Care Ltd. Engr. Akobo holds a BSc in Physics (Electronics option) from the then Rivers State University of Science and Technology, now Rivers State University. He then veered into the oil and gas industry. In his early career he developed an exceptional expertise in the area of flow measurement solution, vibration and condition monitoring, as well as instrumentation and control systems, which has positioned him in the central point of the African Energy Industries. His lengthy productive employment with General Electric, constitutes the first in a series of personal developmental steps that helped him get accustomed to the technical standards of western businesses as well as the business cultures that benefits the Nigerian and African environment. After a period of several educative and productive years with General Electric Nigeria, during which period he was acclaimed for unique business skills which earned him an award of the, ‘Top Talent,’ throughout the continent. He later ventured into his own business as an entrepreneur, with the goal to developing a dynamic and proficient service platform for the industry in Nigeria. With a wide range of prestigious business alliances; he has laid the foundation for solid growth in the Nigerian and global energy industries. DR. JONATHAN IWORISO (Plenary speaker- Virtual) Senior Lecturer London Metropolitan University, England
TOPIC: Econophysics: An Enhancement Tool in Economic Processes.
Dr Jonathan Iworiso is a Senior Lecturer in Mathematics and Statistics for the School of Computing and Digital Media at the London Metropolitan University. He is a native of Opume in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa Sate. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics/Statistics from the University of Calabar, an MSc in Statistics & Data Analysis, and PhD in Statistics with specialisation in Machine Learning and Deep Learning Techniques, from the University of Essex. He has over 12 years of teaching and research experience in the higher education sector. Dr Jonathan Iworiso gained his academic knowledge and teaching experience beginning at the University of Calabar, then on to Federal University Otuoke, where he started off as a graduate assistant; he then proceeded to the University of Essex, where he earned his MSc and PhD degrees. He is passionate about the use of modern pedagogical approaches to facilitate teaching and learning support with sustainability in the higher education sector. He has recently developed a framework for decolonising the curriculum in science and computing with sustained evidence of effectiveness, focusing on students’ success. The framework could be extended to the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) via interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research collaboration with learned colleagues across the globe. Dr Iworiso is a recipient of an Exceptional Talent Endorsement with Exceptional Talent (Visa) Leave-to-Remain in the United Kingdom, following his demonstrable track records with laudable potentials, innovative research and effective contributions in the field of Machine Learning. He is highly committed to recruiting and supervising degree projects, MSc dissertations and PhD thesis in his field of expertise. He is highly experienced in the use of software and programming language (Excel, SAS, Stata, SPSS, R, RStudio, MATLAB, Python) for Computational Statistics and Data Analysis with applications in Finance, Economics, Environment, Biotechnology, Public Health, Medicine, Politics and Government Decision Making.
